Bissell Crosswave on carpets?

Does anyone use one of these on a carpet?

I know they won’t be as good as a dedicated carpet washer but I can’t use a cleaner with a stiff roller brush because the carpet is looped and already a bit bobbled so can’t risk making it worse. I am hoping these machines will be more gentle but also effective?

I don't find it great, but it works on rugs that don't get that dirty. Gets up dirt and leaves them dryish.

I prefer the vax cleaners.
