Cleaning marble ! Help

Hello mumsnetters,

Can any one help or offer any tips on how to clean these marble worktop savers. They are used for making cups of tea / coffee. Even though we clean up stains immediately they still don’t seem to come out and look as white !

Thank you

I have the Method product and I don't think it will do what you're hoping.

I can't imagine it would do any more than hot water and a drop or two of Fairy Liquid.

To properly clean them maybe a product like Lithofin Power Clean would work? But it would only be used occasionally I think...

We have a honed marble topped kitchen island and have found that stains just disappear in quite a short time period. Dramatic curry sauce stain 3 days ago has now vanished. I just wiped off the sauce then ignored the stain, wiping the worktop down all over as normal every now and then. Maybe try not using your worktop saver for a few days, wiping it over with soapy water every now and then in the meantime. Nothing to lose.
