Any sofa recommendations?

I have two large sofas to replace. I purchased them about 20 years ago from Multiyork and they are on their second set of covers. I know I could recover them again but fabric and labour cost is huge.

I've had a look around and sofas seem to be about £1000 or £6000, there seems to be very little in the middle.

Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for a large four seater and a three seater.

Sorry just blatantly placemarking as we need new sofas and I haven't got a clue about where to start.

I’m in the same boat and have become paralysed with indecision! Sorry, OP, I have nothing to contribute but emotional support. Grin

I used to have multiyork sofas and when I replaced them I went for ikea sofas (got the farlov, no longer made) and upgraded them with new covers.

I need loose covers as have a sofa loving dog, I used soferia for the new covers and went for velvet covers. I also changed the legs. I was planning on upgrading the seat/back cushion fillings but tbh they are very comfortable as they are.

obviously they are not multiyork quality but tbh I don’t want them to last forever, I was thoroughly sick of my old sofas when I finally got rid.

Are the Soferia covers good? I’m considering a Vimle but I’m not keen on any of the covers at Ikea.
