Does anyone know a good alterations place in either chichester/brighton/southampton area or City of London?

I have some jeans that need taking up, and my sewing skills somehow completely fail me in the face of denim. Can anyone recomend (or is anyone) a good alteration person to take them to?

And if anyone has any idea how much it should cost, I'd appreciate some guidance!

Most Dry cleaners will do it. Probably for less than £5.

Yes. The drycleaners under the arches off Villiers Street, underneath Charing Cross station. Can't recall the name but they're next door to Heaven nightclub, opposite the New Players Theatre and Champagne Charlies. (Not the drycleaners under the railway bridge down by embankment tube, by the way, just in case of confusion )

They have altered plenty of stuff for me over the years and are really good. They do a great trick with jeans where they retain the original seam so they still look as if they haven't been altered round the seam.
