Advice on baby proofing kitchen drawers!

My 9 month old is obsessed with opening my kitchen drawers and I have ran out of ideas on how to lock them from him. I have tried magentic locks on the grey ones but I think the drawers are too heavy that they do not work. The little white ones are impossible as the drawer space inside has no space to add magnetic locks. As you can see there is no solid sides to the drawers or space to add locking straps so Im really out of ideas!

Has anyone experienced this and can offer a solution?

What are you worried about, the contents or trapped fingers?

I emptied all glass and knives out of my bottom cupboards for a couple of months and let DS get it out of his system. Our drawers don't self close.

My son was never allowed in the kitchen. I had a baby gate across the entrance to the kitchen. If I needed to do anything, my son had a playpen set up in the lounge, and he'd be placed in there, so he was safe, whilst I nipped upstairs or into the kitchen. Or when young. He was put in his baby bouncer behind the gate, so he could see me, but was safe. There's only so much you can do to baby proof, and if you are finding it difficult, then if you can stop your child from coming into the kitchen, then that might be an option.

There are specific child door catches for this. The door/drawer opens a little to allow a finger to release a lock.
