Fake Tan stain on cream wool carpet

Can anyone suggest a way of getting gradual tan ( dove ) stain out of my cream wool carpet. My DS decided to help
himself and failed to mention he’d dropped some - I only knew when it developed !!!
to make matters worse we’ve sold the house . TIA

Works for lots of things. I managed to get a blob of foundation on my wool mix curtains and only found out when it had dried! Worked a treat.
