Slightly Odd - What to do?

Ok - where do I start? I am convinced my cleaner is putting money INTO my wallet. YEs very Odd I know. I am not very materialistic but my cleaner it seems is and is always suggesting I buy new things for the children. For example she couldnt belive (quote: "oh - the poor thing") that I had home-made a mobile for our new baby. Ok I am not that artistic but the baby is engrossed so who's complaining. Very forgiving when they are 3 mths old eh? Anyway recently I realised that what I thought was an empty wallet had cash in it. I thought it a bit odd but then assumed it was my DH being helpful - havent managed to get to the cash machine as busy exhausted with new baby and DD1 (nearly 2) etc etc. However when I asked him he knew nothing (and blammed it on lack of sleep blah blah blah). BUT then it happened again the following week and this time DH was away on business and I knew it was empty this time. OK so after the third time I questioned her about it and she looked at me as if I had gone mad. I know its her (hardly going to be DD1 is it?) Does she really feel that sorry for us and think we can't afford things when all we really are is careful with money. Last week she would have made a loss - ie she put more in my wallet than we pay her! I can't exactly fire her can I but the whole thing is just too bizzare. I always wonder if she has trouble financially herself beacause she is always saying "I wouldn't be able to live without (something generally expensive in my eyes)" and I doubt she can afford ecessively expensive tastes. It wasn't long a go that she came off benefits. My this is getting long - Sorry. So what to do? (didn't know where to post this untill DH saw the Good Housekeeping topic and laughed (he by the way thinks this is great housekeeping!). Last week I even hid my handbag!

Wow!
Put it in an envelope and write bonus on it?
um
Its a bit of a trust issue really isnt it, what if she decides you actually have too much?

I don't get what the complaint is about.

Leave your wallet out, empty and open, and make sure you do the shopping the day after the cleaner's been so the fridge looks sparse. Turn the heating down and try to look wan. You could make a fortune.
