We have a Eufy G50 and it does a good job. It's on a timer so goes around every day downstairs - we have hardwood floors and 2 rugs.
Every few days DH also puts it upstairs. I worry it'll send itself down the stairs but hasn't done so (yet).

I was dubious but love it now. Just wish it could do the stairs!

Only things to be aware of is that you need to make sure there's nothing on the floor it can get tangled in (like phone charger wires or shoe laces - learned that thanks to DH) and may need to block furniture if it's likely to get wedged under it.

I love my Roomba- I have the mop combo but that's wasted tbh. It's great at hoovering it's honestly changed my life BUT it's loud and the toddler is petrified of it and the husband claims it wakes him up if I put it on overnight so I have to remember to put it on when I leave or schedule it. It's great though

I got this one on Prime Day for £95 and am over the moon with it

Does all my downstairs hard floors really well and quite quickly, does do carpets ( I sent it under my un - moveable bed ) well, but a lot slower and noisier

With a Pug and a Cat who shed as they walk, nay make that as they breathe, its been absolutely brilliant

Took a couple of hours initially for it to map downstairs but now it takes an hour for it to do huge kitchen diner, two hallways and a bathroom - seriously a lot of floor space. its programmed to start after dinner, I just lift the dogs water bowl and put the dining chairs up

I do prefer to use my upright on carpets

Thank you

Hope you love it as much as I love mine :)

Honestly I see the difference already on my clothes, the furniture etc. I have porcelain tiles in the kitchen/diner, lino in the halls, non slip tiles in the downstairs bathroom , normal tiling in the front lobby and it works well on all those surfaces

My bedroom is a deep pile carpet, my vacuum doesnt get under the furniture, this bad boy does. However I got it as a help, not to do the main vacuum , hence I use the upright in the carpeted rooms and just use the robot to go under the furniture that I cant move

I lift the dining room chairs else it takes too long finding its way out and a lot of noise, otherwise it finds its way around really well

@suki1964 I’m in love!

Absolutely brilliant little thing. Trundled around for 2 hours and made a great job of the downstairs which is oak and porcelain tiles.
Going to try upstairs today, all carpets. I shed a lot of hair everyday where I blow it dry. Will be interesting to see how he copes with that. I mainly wanted it for downstairs, so if it’s ok upstairs that will be a bonus.
Loved seeing him put himself away to recharge! Head butted a door to try to get there.
Thanks for recommending him 😃

Ive named mine Dusty Bin :)

He head butts my mums living room door as he got in there once , but she seriously has too much lying on the floor for it to go in and not get stuck anywhere and I cant be doing with the drama so its easier for me to just go in and vaccum

Put it on Boost the first few times for the carpet if its going into areas not regularly vacuumed ( like under my furniture ) and it will do a pretty good job. Picks up my hair from where I blow dry not a bother. Now I just let it run on quiet throughout

Mine is Alfie, after one of my favourite footballers- ‘Alfie’ Le Fondre.

I also have a Eufy G 50 and can set it to schedule a clean whenever I want to, but what I can't find is anywhere where it tells me how long it will clean for? Does anyone have any idea please?
