Big summer online cleaning buddy sought!!

Hi! I’ve decided to keep a log of a big clean. I’m doing in my house over the coming 48 hours.. the aim is to motivate myself would be great to find a house tidying cleaning buddy for the weekend who I can cheer on from the sidelines and perhaps they can cheer me on!

So Dana k white says start with the easy stuff and just do 5 mins…. So here goes!! X

Up at 6.. going to try and start the day with some exercise. So off for a quick run.

I think I might take your lead and do the same next weekend when DS and DP will be out at an event.

I'm not able to do house cleaning (disabled) but, with any huge task, I set a time of, say, ten minutes, to concentrate on the task, and then watch a programme on catch up to the ad break, do another ten minutes, carry on with programme. You get what I mean!

I find I'm way more productive in the ten minute breaks because I want to get back to the TV!

I’ll join in - my first free weekend for weeks and the house reflects that as I also work full time 😂 serious attention needed. Hoping to do a bit of decluttering along the way.

Thanks for all your responses!! It will be great to not feel quite so alone doing it! Well, Ive done run (suddenly very interested in taking exercise now Ive decided to clean today!!).. and now going to do the easy bits first!! I love the TV treats idea @OldTinHat. I shall try and build in something similar!!
So head into the kitchen and throw away anything that I can!

Hi @petal2019 just got back from running the kids around. Think I’m going to start with mowing the lawn! Not really a priority but it’s doing my head in and it often gets me going on other jobs!

Well Ive spent the day doing everything but but now HAVE to start!!!
So.... step by step... rubbish first
