Ariel liquitabs - anyone else notice a gluey substance that sticks to your clothes?

I've recently had some clothes come out of a wash with gluey stuff on them that won't come off. We couldn't figure out what it was and then DH noticed the same stuff on a colleagues clothes at work (it's not from his work because it's on the dc's clothes too). When he asked her about it she said that she thinks it is part of the plasticy skin of the liquitabs which hasn't dissolved properly because she washes at 30. I just thought it a possibility because we also use them and wash at 30 - has anyone else had this problem?

Yes, it's the coating of the liquitab. I used to have to wash my clothes twice. It sometimes happens when there is too much washing in the machine because the tab does not dislove properly due to lack of space. A low temp can also do this.

argh yes! I can't get it off again either

Try washing them again but at a higher temp.

Thank you - will try that!

I would be more worried about my DH talking washing and clothes with a female colleague....
