Condenser won’t go back into tumble dryer

I have a hotpoint tumble dryer and the condenser won’t go back in it almost goes in all the way but not enough to clip it in photo attached

You've not positioned it correctly.

You have to sort of hold it up a bit,as you put it in.

It may take a few goes to get it right.

Don't force it in.

I've got the same one, it often takes a few attempts to get it all the way in. Badly designed, I won't be buying another like it
