How many hours would it take to clean this property?

A 50 sqm one bedroom apartment. One very very small bathroom of no more than 4 sqm, likely less. Carpet throughout but tiles in bathroom and lino in kitchen. Furniture would need dusting. Glass coffee table to clean. Just a general weekly clean.

How long would it take a cleaner to iron 10 work shirts?

Trying to figure out how many hours a week we need to budget for!

There really is no point trying to budget for it until you've got some quotes from people in your area who do that sort of work.

Some cleaners / companies charge per-job. Some by the hour. Some provide cleaning materials. Some don't.

But most importantly, the chances are any cleaning person or company you contact is likely to have a waiting list, so the cost may well be the least of your worries.

I charge per-job for all the cleaning I do. I never have and I never will charge per hour. I find out what people are needing, and then I tell them how much I want for doing it. But no matter what the job is, I currently do not charge anyone less than £40 for turning up to do it.

I can't imagine such a tiny flat would take more than an hour to an hour and a half to clean each week if you keep it clean and tidy as you go along.

Just send the shirts out to a laundry service. It takes me about 7 minutes to iron one of DH's traditional cotton shirts.
