The soft toys with plastic pellets inside....like bean bags infact. DD has a few and they are all minging and I was going to put them in the handwash cycle of my machine. Do you think that will work ok and do I use softener or not??

I have washed my kids' jellycat toys in the machine on a delicates cycle/cold wash and were fine. Think I used softener too. Getting them dry after a bit of a palaver - seemed to take ages.
