Pegging

Do you peg your sheets out upside down (in half but hanging from the edges) or over the top of the washing line?

Thought this was a royal thread. As you were.

Beautifulbythebay · 26/06/2024 13:55

Upside down by the edges or get a crease midway..

BusyCM · 26/06/2024 13:55

Ahem.

Scampuss · 26/06/2024 14:01

Rotary line and hang them hammock style.

sugarbyebye · 26/06/2024 14:02

SonicTheHodgeheg · 26/06/2024 14:04

Op you need admin to change your title because I thought this was a sex forum or royal family post

Surely was 😳

RosesAndHellebores · 26/06/2024 14:06

My eyes popped when I saw the title of your thread. Then I saw it was in housekeeping Grin.

Over the top - yes there's a line but it smooths out as stretched over the mattress. Duvet covers get ironed. Not often though due to the weather they usually go in the tumbler.

Theoldwoman · 26/06/2024 14:07

Over the line.

userxx · 26/06/2024 14:07

Yeah, not the kind of pegging I had in mind 🤷‍♀️

PuttingDownRoots · 26/06/2024 14:09

If you hang them from the edge they drag along the floor...

Vroomfondleswaistcoat · 26/06/2024 14:09

I have an unruly garden so have to hang them out draped over the line. If I 'hammock' them, they catch in the rose thorns. I can raise my line so I don't have to have them draped 'in half', I can have 1/4 draped over and the rest hanging free which dries faster, as long as I remember to turn them.

skibiditoilet · 26/06/2024 14:14

When are the ‘what’s so rude about pegging’ comments going to start?

Yet you clicked on it anyway... 😂

I thought the OP was going to ask about how to hang out t-shirts so you don't get peg marks.

Gingercatlover · 26/06/2024 14:20

Haha did a double take at the title and scrolled back to see it was in Housekeeping lol🤣👍🏻

GingerPirate · 26/06/2024 14:25

I thought it was something to do with cutting grass with a scythe....
😂

longdistanceclaraclara · 26/06/2024 14:26

I was wondering how pegging was in housekeeping...

Anyway I spread them out as much as I can, fitted sheets are a pita to hang.

Cas112 · 26/06/2024 14:31

😂😂😂I need to take my mind out the gutter

RoobarbAndMustard · 26/06/2024 14:59

I fold sheets in half but peg the on the fold not the edges.

JedEye · 26/06/2024 18:48

Ha ha not the responses I was expecting! I had to look it up. It wasn't called that in my day. Blush
