Washing machine

My washing machine has died. I've been really disappointed with it. Only 3 years old and has eaten clothes, needed several repairs and has been quite high maintenance. I'm looking for a new machine that takes large loads, current one is 11kg capacity and can take robust family life. Anyone love their machine???

Bosch
9 years old, about 5/6 loads a week - less than there used to be as the DC are grown up and only have one home nowadays!

Samsung

Not Samsung! I replaced my LG that broke during covid (hence no engineers would visit to fix it) with a Samsung. I sent a video of the fault to LG and they said probably bearings which are £££ to fix.
Hate it. Noisy, so busy being eco it doesn’t wash very well unless you add an extra 5 litre + of water manually through the soap drawer, immediately locks the door on pressing go even if there is no water in it yet so that last sock you dropped cannot be added. If I could justify swapping it I would. I almost want the damn thing to break!

to add insult to injury the nice lady who collected my ‘free but broken’ LG text me a few days after to cheerfully inform me her dad had fixed it with a £5 part for her and she was delighted 😕😂
