How to clean the outside of a fridge

Sorry to ask such a basic question, the answer should be obvious: spray cleaner, wipe with damp cloth or sponge. The trouble is, the surface is not flat... it's grainy, like the surface of leather almost.

And the fridge hasn't been cleaned for a while. Last night I was scrubbing around the handle for ages, and it doesn't look much better.

Any tips?

I really like Flash spray with bicarbonate of soda, it seems to remove lots of stubborn marks.

Or Astonish paste, that's really good too.
