How to clean this?

I have tried all sorts of of products and there is always this kind of white ring left.

Anything else I wcqn do?

Rather than being on top of the black, is the white an absence of black? I drove myself mad trying to clean a patch of worktop which I realised was futile once I worked out it was where the varnish was missing.

Is it baked-on cleaning product on hob glass? Maybe try soaking a sponge cloth in bio soap powder solution and leaving it on the ring overnight. Then see if any of it will come off with a green scourer.

Have you scrubbed the non-stick off and the white is what's left underneath? If that's the case, the only option is a new pan.

Alternatively, if you've used/left water in there, it could be limescale. If that's the case, try some kettle descaler on it.

That’s a hob top isn’t it ? I had similar rings when I moved into a house and tried every hob cleaner on the market with little success. A glass scraper was only thing that removed most of it but in the end we just replaced hob - probably cheaper than repeatedly buying stuff to clean

Yeah, it does look like a hob top. I had the same issue after moving in—burnt-on rings that no cleaner could shift. A glass scraper helped a bit, but like you, I ended up replacing the whole thing. Sometimes it’s just not worth the hassle or cost of trying every product. Funny enough, I do commercial window cleaning for a living, and even with industrial-grade cleaners, some surfaces are just too far gone. Some things are better off replaced!

Pink stuff in a tub will sort this.

I’d try a glass scraper and if that doesn’t shift it, replace the hob. I have a feeling you’ll have to replace it.
