Ive just bought a steam mop - would you use on non gloss tiles?

Ive just bought a shark steam mop and realised youre only supposed to use on non gloss tiles. Mine are horrible old non gloss ones that absorb dirt (rented house)

Would you use occaisionally on these or return the mop?

Your only supposed to use it on non gloss tiles and you have non gloss tiles?
I use ours everywhere. It’s just hot water?

I don’t risk using it on any tiles, after a bad experience where the steam lifted the tiles off the walls in the kitchen.

Instructions say - dont use on non gloss tiles, use on gloss tiles only.

I have the non glossy, textured ones that i want to use it on
