Tips for getting lint off black clothing

Hi, some black clothing has come out of the washing machine covered in little flecks of white lint. Have tried a lint removal setting on a steam iron, did nothing. After googling I also tried rubbing with a dryer sheet, that did nothing either. Any tips?

Get a lint roller

Put on a pair of rubber gloves, or even better, the scrub daddy gloves that have the rubber bristles.

Sweep across the item wearing the glove.

Put them through a rinse and spin cycle to get them wet again and put into the tumble dryer, the centrifugal force will remove lint, pet hair, bits of tissues that were left in a pocket etc.
