What on earth do I do?

It flew past my head and is up there angrily tweeting now.....

we had one which then escaped through the hatch (dh hadn't closed it properly ) so when i got home it was flying around in our bedroom. Obviously I shut the door on it and phoned dh to come home from work and deal with it . Sorry no help there I know, unless you leave your hatch open to help it escape.

I have no idea but wanted to commend you on the best thread title I have seen in some time.

OPen the loft hatch now as well as the windows in the room below - open them wide as poss.
Am sure the poor bird is feeling much worse than you.

can you throw a sheet over it to trap then release?
