Straight out of the dishwasher!

For the last few months, I'm getting these tiny, black particles on some of the items coming out of the dishwasher.I've cleaned the D/W and topped up the rinse aid liquid. They're too tiny to be coffee grounds.

Can anyone identify them and suggest how I can get rid of them?

Are the rubbers around the door beginning to perish? Looks like rubbery bits?
