I know it's a sad question - can anyone recommend a good ironing board??

DH wants a new ironing board, preferably one that's wide and tall. So anyone got a brill one they want to tell me about?

hi scaryt - have just answered a thread about an iron so thought I should go the whole hog and do the ironing boARD TOO! I have got a really wide Brabantia - if you look at john lewis online they will probably have a load to look at. I think it is a size D. It makes a big difference ironing shirts....... how sad is that................

I think we may well go with brabantia, seems to have a good write up everywhere. Do you happen to know how wide yours is? Am thinking of going for the 45cm.

yes - it is the 45cm - they have different sizes like B, C and D - think mine is a D (sounds like bras!) but you might even get them bigger!. Good for sheets etc too!
