My cooker has finally carked it and is not worth replacing. It's an electric built under one with a gas hob. I want to replace with an electric built under and gas hob - possibly neff. Any recommendations?

If you have a neff cooker is it worth getting a higher spec one to get the fancy extra cooking programmes?

(of course, if I could REALLY replace with what I wanted ... oy vay, but another thread totally!)

TIA

Does it need to be something fancy? I got my kitchen refitted last year and my Electrolux oven is great - Fan assisted, Grill. What features do you want?

I like this circlotherm (can't remember how to spell it!) thingy which heats the oven faster, there are other fancy things but I think I may be being seduced by advertising!

If you will use the fancy things, then it may be great. But surely a good oven is one with a great seal, so it does a good Victoria Sandwich cake. Haven't timed how long my oven takes to heat up, but I think it heats to 200c in under 10 minutes. New ovens do seem to heat faster these days... probably due to better seals and better elements.
