Mixed household cleaners - help!

I’m getting no clear answer on Google. I just wondered if anyone had done this before. I sprayed my carpet with domestic spray bleach as my cat had been sick. Rubbed with dettol big & strong kitchen wipes & then went over it with dr beckmann carpet cleaner as it had a brush on the end to get the last of the marks off & there was a strong smell after using the carpet cleaner. I know you can’t mix bleach with ammonia etc & a lot of household cleaners. I looked on the back of the carpet cleaner & has less than 5 ingredients none of which are coming across on Google. Any advice please

Can't offer any help as such as I wouldn't have used bleach on a carpet personally, but if there's no cat sick smell, no stain, your carpet hasn't dissolved/melted and you've not been overcome with the fumes/smell then I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe open a window to let the fumes out. Edit: if you are concerned, wash the area again with plain water to dilute everything.

I used to use a dedicated carpet cleaner spray foam designed for pet accidents - get the worst up with whatever you can use without gagging then spray the stuff on and leave it for 15 mins and wipe off and brush. It has deodoriser and sanitiser in it so no need for other chemicals.
