Crikey Cod you must tell me where you get yer energy from. How do you fit it all in?

As far as I can see you're a magistrate, parent of three, gym bunny, teacher, MN addict, literacy expert, gym bunny, style, beauty and fashion guru, MN headgirl, serial blogger and all-round salonniere and bon vivante. And you change your cushion covers.

Do you have ADHD?

Summer cushion covers? Do you have different covers for the seasons, like clothes?

What else do you have different for the seasons? I think I'll be changing dh as summer's coming in. He's a little heavy for spring, works better in winter, all that grey don'tcha know?

barnstaple · 03/04/2008 17:43

Actually, I am seriously perturbed that people do this. I hate cushions and cushion covers and studiously ignore all of ours ALL YEAR ROUND
So there.

Twiglett · 03/04/2008 17:44

hahahahahahahahahahaahahahhaaaaa

oh I love you Cod .. you and yer summer handbags and summer cushions

some things in this life are constant, it is so nice to see that the fish is one of them

DragonPeaHead · 03/04/2008 17:48

Not me I must say
But is something for La Codette to aspire to, I feel

My friend has summer curtains.....nice idea....i won't be doing it though.

bundle · 04/04/2008 16:24

i bet cod has knickers that match her spring cushions. ponce

preggersagain · 05/04/2008 09:56

ooh well done cod- summer curtains need dry-cleaning and rehanging.

Concept is winter curtains short and non stylish BUT sit on the windowsill therefore not trapping any of the heat from the radiator so practical rather than pretty!

Summer curtains- long and stylish and rather floaty, heating not on therefore heat retention not an issue! and rooms look like something out of the white company catalogue!!

sassy · 03/04/2009 16:43

Eeeee, what a worry. When will we know that it is summer cushion time in these new, less fishy days? ,sigh.

(I changed the hat basket over today; woolly hats and scarves, plus gloves OUT, summer caps and sun lotion IN. Is this one of the primary indications of summer cushion season, d'y'think?)

allthoseeggsaremine · 03/04/2009 22:43

Doesn't everyone have summer handbags??

I also changed over the hat basket today

I don't really have summer cushions....more like winter cushions, i always buy or use cosy darker coloured cushions in the winter and go back to any other ones i have for the summer. But always classed this as 'winter' cushions rather than summer iyswim

I always put the freshest looking bedding on the kids beds this time of year aswell, and save cosier looking stuff for winter......jeez i have too much time on my hands surely

QuintessentiallyAnEmptyGrave · 03/04/2009 22:44

Well done on digging up a one year old thread exactly on the day!

allthoseeggsaremine · 03/04/2009 23:07

Year old thread...??? So it is didn't even notice that

QuintessentiallyAnEmptyGrave · 03/04/2009 23:35

It just goes to show how big interest you have in summer cushions.

Here, it is a question of summer curtains.

sassy · 04/04/2009 08:21

Wow - I didn't notice the exact date of the old thread when I looked for it yesterday. How funny!

samsonara · 04/04/2009 08:44

I should have got advice from those in the know, I have just bought curtains but fear they are not the right season colour
here, in the bronze colour, do they look autumnal and too dark for summer curtains?
