Best way to clean beginnings of shower mould.

I really tried my best to keep on top of drying the shower after each use, but now both my adult DC seem to shower every five minutes I've let it slip as I would be constantly on my knees! Hence I now have the beginnings of mould growth. What do you use to get rid? (I have to be careful with very strong smelling sprays as they give me the mother of all migraines). Grateful for any tips.

Following! I’ve got the Cillit Bang mould spray but haven’t used it yet 🙈

The HG mould foam is good. And your adult DC should be doing the cleaning??

I use a shower spray after every shower and leave the window open for at least an hour, the fan doesn't work on its own.

Once a week I spray it with a bleach spray an hour before I shower and clean it down in the shower.

I live alone so that helps too. 😁

Vinegar and methylated spirit kill mould. Bleach just bleaches it. I keep a squeegee in the shower and we all use it. A chamois would work, too. As much fresh air as possible. A regular spray with vinegar or metho and a wipedown as part of regular bathroom cleaning.

However you fix the mould your DC should be maintaining and keeping it clean.

I was going to say the same.

Thanks for the advice and answering my question, Sparrowball and TheSandgroper. I am definitely finding white vinegar spray to be pure gold and I will get a sqeegee.
