Advice on cleaning beanbags

That’s it really!
obvs not the contents (polystyrene balls)
My two are covered in a fleecy polyester fabric and there is a sealed zip which I’d have to cut open to try to take out the stuffing, then wash the covers.

The label on the covers says no washing, dry cleaning, spot clean only.

But they’ve now had so many spills from the kids drinks and food that unless I try washing them I’ll have to chuck them!

Any tips on decanting stuffing, washing and then restuffing and resealing gratefully received!

thanks 💐

I've washed almost everything that has a label saying 'dry clean only'!
Even a white silk dress covered in red wine that the dry cleaners couldn't remove..
It's probably fire resistant material so I'd be very careful keeping it away from any open fires..
But I'd wash it on a quick wash definitely..

Thank you! Hadn’t thought about the fire proofing….

But I will give this a go.
