What toilet block type thing do you prefer

(Not interested in someone coming on and telling me about using essential oils in a spray.)

What I want is something that sticks underneath the rim of your toilet or goes in the cylinder thing to keep it fresh smelling nice and not too chemically but also getting rid of skidmarks, between cleaning

I’ve had various ones, the ones in kind of a cage, less keen on those and the pellet ones that I found almost impossible to dispense accurately. Many years ago I had that one that goes in the cylinder as well. Which people find the best.

I find the lemons ones in a gin are rather nice. A bit sharp but you get used to that.
Don't bother with the pine ones, they're horrible.

As for the marks, nothing works other than physical work. I use DP's toothbrush. He doesn't sem to mind, actually he doesn't know! 😂

I like the ones that go in the cistern, used one years ago that just put a little bit of foam into the loo. Can't seem to find one now that doesn't turn the water blue!

I like the cistern ones too. Aldi do a lemon one which doesn't change the colour but does help keep the loo cleaner. I wanted to like the stick on jelly things but they are rubbish!

I like the Toilet Duck discs.

I had a very grumpy Plumber berate me strongly on my use of these once.
Apparently they are very detrimental to the cistern and cause rotting over time
Never touched them again.
Use Aldi/Home Bargains/Tesco hanging 'cages'

Oooh, that is useful to know. Perhaps I shall end my quest for non-blue ones!

I had a neighbour that used the type in a plastic cage. Somehow one of them got flushed down the loo and into the drains. She had to call out people to dig under the street to sort out the blockage it caused. That scared me out of using them ever again. I do like like the cistern blocks and didn't realise they caused problems?

I like the Toilet Duck discs.

But I can’t eject them right ever 😁😁
