Black fluff on carpet driving me insane!

Can anyone recommend a hack for removing black sock fluff that has been ingrained in to a light grey bedroom carpet? I'm really hoping there is some ingenius tool out there that does it for me! My Shark barely touches it as it's all flattened in to the carpet. In fact is there a tool for perking that up again too?!

Would one of these pet hair removers work? It restores some of the pile on mine and tends to loosen up little bits of fluff which I then hoover. Couple £ on ebay/amazon might be worth a try.

Get a piece of sticky tape, wrap it round your fingers in a loop with sticky side outwards, then stab the carpet vigorously

Run a steam cleaner over it before you hoover.....picks up sooo much more dirt

Rubber broom. Gets all the hair up too.

I rough it up with a scrubbing brush or use the shark hand held attachment because black Labrador hairs are like glue.

Slippers would help

This is what you need. I bought it because new carpet which js navy weirdly sheds tiny white lumps which don't lift easily. I was amazed how well it works and the carpet looks like it was laid yesterday. Well worth it

I was going to recommend that pet hair thing as well. I bought one after seeing them on here, used it for the first time today and I cannot believe how much dog hair and fluff it got out of our carpet, after I'd been over it with the Dyson. Best £2.99 I've ever spent! amzn.eu/d/2vTSKkd

Amazing thank you so much for the suggestions everyone! I'll order the pet hair thing and give it a go!
