How do you store bags?

Bags which are used every day or multiple times a week.
DH's work back pack and my handbag tend to live on the floor at the edge of the sofa.

Then we have DC1's school bag and sports bag.
DC2's school bag, kit bag (large), sport 1 bag (large) and sport 2 bag (normal backpack size)
These are supposed to live on top of the shoe rack behind the front door, but they invariably fall off because there isn't enough space for all of them at once.

Each also have a backpack they use if going out for the day, DC2 has a couple of small phone bags. I usually insist these are kept in their rooms.

We have 2 shelves in the hall cupboard for bags used more rarely but its not practical to empty the ones in constant use so they can go in the cupboard.
What's your system?

We have room off the main room (was a conservatory but we don’t use it like that) and we have a clothes rail and I keep the kids uniforms and shoes and sports bags on hooks along with their school bags

DC has a low shelf/kallax style unit for shoes, and the top has a basket for hats/gloves/scarf and space for a couple of small rucksacks. DC is too young for sports bags though, so I don’t know what we'll do when ey gets to that age.

I sling my bag over the bannister when I fet home. DH has a nag but also a home office, so he keeps all his work stuff in there.
