would like one of these to increase the space and also so that ds can reach his clothes. I can't find one anywhere but I'm sure I've seen it before somwhere. Any ideas much appreciated...

I made it myself - it's really easy. You buy the supports and screw them onto the sides of the wardrobe (you don't need to drill or anything - they go into the wood quite easily), then put the pole on. I've done this twice - the first time I sawed it to the right length with a little saw for metal. The second time I got the man in the diy shop to saw it for me. The bits and bobs are cheap.

I got the idea from blooming marvellous website I think but was years ago, and about 30 quid, which is a lot for a pole.

Thanks bigshopper, if I don't find one I will have a go at doing it myself.

Builders merchant. I had one when I lived in a flat which didn't really have space for a wardrobe, I got it from a builders merchant.

It's this

Only 10 quid - can't remember why I didn't buy it, maybe was living in diff country so shipping was expensive
