Vax SpotWash - mould

I've got a Vax SpotWash machine (the red one, a tank on either side). Taken it out to use today and discovered it was put away damp last time and the dirty-side tank and the hose were mouldy.

It's mostly better now, but does anyone have any tips on getting the inner workings as dry as possible before putting away? Also tips for cleaning the hose out (it's fixed in, can't remove) as there's still some mould on the inside after using the 'clean hose' function.

ive got one of those fluffy thin looks like a big bottle brush thats designed to go down the back of the radiators you could try something like that or a wire coat hanger untwist it so its straight and drape a cloth round it but sellotape the bottom so it dosent end up stuck in the pipe
