Left over candlexwax

I have a very lovely scented candle that won't light anymore . Can I put the left over wax in a wax melt burner? I am thinking that of course I can but just wondering if I'm missing anything safety wise or anything.

I always do this with the remaining wax bits of candles just for that last bit of scent! X

another option if you burn candles frequently and are in this situation often is to buy a wick kit (I got mine off of Amazon). I used to use my remaining wax in a wax burner but now melt them down and make new candles. Depending on how much is left, I might get a tealight or two, or something closer to votive size.
