Where does all this fucking dust come from?

Seriously. I'm spring cleaning and it's like any bookshelf or bit of furniture I haven't looked at in the last two months is now covered in a fluffy grey dust carpet. Why does dust exist? Intelligent design, my arse.

Cleaner here, do you have pets? I notice people who have pets have more dust than those who don't.

Do you live near a busy road and do you open your windows frequently?
Do you have carpeting in high traffic areas?

DramaAlpaca · 01/04/2024 14:52

I blame the dog.

bilgewater · 01/04/2024 15:02

Quite a lot of it is human in origin - we shed skin cells at an astonishing rate.

SocksShmocks · 01/04/2024 15:05

skin cells

If you leave dust for three months it grows no more

EatCrow · 01/04/2024 15:15

I getting carpets again, no where to hide with wooden floors.

Elebag · 01/04/2024 15:16

Busy road, pets, shoes in the house?

A dog. But it's not like he climbs onto bookshelves. 🙂
