Stamp ink on wall

Hoping someone will come along with their great tips on removing this, from years of experience 😃 of their children doing the same.
So my DC was doing a picture decided to get some bits and bobs out to decorate it. Then obviously took out the little stamp pot, which is to use with the stamps that came with it.
Put their hands on it and decided to put on bedroom wall 🤦‍♀️
I have read a mixed array of solutions online but really not sure.
As you need someone to tell you they've actually tried them and they actually work!

Thankyou in advance!

I'd try ink stain devil and a magic eraser, but test it on a unobtrusive spot very gingerly first.

Is it standard emulsion on the wall?

Those magic eraser things worked when dd did the same and I left it for ages before cleaning it off!

Magic eraser with just a bit of water first thing to try.

Thankyou I will give it a try.

God knows what paint it is 🤦‍♀️ I rent, and when you wipe even gently with a lightly damp microfibre cloth, paint comes off in this place.

Hand sanitiser?

Redruby2020 · 30/03/2024 23:47

I already tried alcohol rub as was suggested online, but i should of known from all my medical years, that it binds things to the surface, it didn't do very much sadly.
Now still have red on my wall.
