Granite Worktop stain

Hi all,

Super Glue spilled on my granite worktop, I used soapy water and hot water to remove but it’s ended up staining and looking like this.

has it stained? Any ideas on how to get it back to what it was?

Is there still superglue on it in that oavl shape? I'd use a cotton bud and nail varnish remover on the glue residue then give the counter a wash in hot soapy water after.

If it's dried on and won't lift, carefully shaving the glue off with a fresh stanley knife blade can do a good job. Just go gently so you don't gouge the surface of the granite.

Thanks Lena, it doesn’t feel like it, but from angles it does look like it.

I’m not sure how the outer ring has appeared also.

I’ll try nail varnish remover 👍. I’ll get another pic up from a different angle.

Here’s another, it’s like it’s sunk in, the darker areas.

mix bicarbonate of soda and water to make a paste and then scrub it. That should work…

Try barkeepers friend. This removed permanent marker from my quartz worktops!

Another vote for Barkeeps Friend, it removes pretty much anything
