Help needed on storage solutions!

Hi, I have built in wardrobes (see attached photos). The top shelf is really high but is quite difficult to access the middle part due to the sliding doors. At the moment I just have some plastic boxes in there with some clothes (hoodies and leggings) and all my gym kit. I feel I’m not making best use of the space but I do need easy access as I use my gym stuff a lot.

I’m not very good with space so I’m hoping some of you smart people might have some good ideas for me.

58 high
74cm deep

Any ideas would be very welcome. Thanks.

the Shelf looks too deep so I would get a second shelf fitted to use the wasted space above the plastic baskets.
alternatively I would move the shelf and the hanging rail up so that there is more room underneath the clothing if it’s hard to reach

Use it to store out of season clothes
