Paint spill disaster

Had a whole tin of paint spill in the boot of our car today. Spent all day trying to get it out and still haven't. If anyone has tips that would be fab. It's an emulsion paint.
My daughter coat managed to get covered in paint and my husband said it would come straight off as it's a water based paint so I chucked it in the machine without really thinking.
It's come out looking even worse. I've scrubbed and scrubbed with washing up liquid and hand sanitizer but not getting anywhere. Is this beyond saving? 😭
Wasn't a cheap coat and it's her only winter coat too 🫠

It's not as simple as it being water based I'm afraid, I'm an artist and acrylic paints are water based rather than oil based but once they're dry you can't get them out because they are basically plastic and the plastic has solidified into the material and won't dissolve again.
I've just looked up emulsion paint and it also has acrylics in.
Honestly I'd take it to a dry cleaners and ask them if they could shift it, but I wouldn't hold out much hope OP sorry.

Thanks so much, I think it's already written off 😟
