Mop suggestions

Hi all, I'm not a domestic goddess yet have high inspirations to be after watching Mrs Hinch! I see she has a Flash speed mop and thinking that would fit well into my life. I hate the bucket purely for storage reasons so thinking I'd be more inclined to keep things clean if I had something that's easy to store and easy to take out. The only thing deterring me from the Flash speed mop is throwing away the wipes after each use, and the replacement of the wipes as they appear expensive.

Any suggestions or thoughts?

I don't have a large area to mop as half my house is carpet, and I have laminate flooring so can't have anything too wet. I initially liked the idea of a steam mop but so many say not suitable for laminate and I gave up.

You could just buy a spray mop that uses microfibre cloths that you can pop on the washing machine after.

theres the vileda brand or many on amazon.

I have a Vileda spray mop and really like it, does a really good job. I use an ecover all purpose cleaner with it as trying to use plant based cleaning products, they smell so much nicer as well.

Also trying to do away with disposable cleaning wipes and be a bit more environmentally friendly so wouldn't like the flash mop for that reason. I can't imagine wipes would really do that good of a job on the floor either, not to properly clean.

I’ve just bought the Vileda one and love it.

I was using the Flash one but, as mentioned , didn’t feel great with disposing the cleaning pads.

This is much better.

I love my E cloth mops. Come in two sizes and you don’t need to use any detergent, though I do so it smells nice.

Second the ecloth mops. I’ve had mine 10 years and sometimes think about getting a spare just in case anything happened to it. Easy to store, efficient and environmentally friendly, although I do use a bit of Fairy with mine.
