Oh FGS I Hate it when companies mess up and get difficult to deal with.

I'm sorry it won't be sorted before your op As if you don't have enough to be worrying about!
Poor you [hugs]

Oooooh TMH I have been having dodgy bowel movements lately...I looked up IBS on the NHS site...I don't think I have it. (maybe just eating the wrong things ATM)
It did say that IBS is sometimes linked to anxiety....whatever it is you have, I hope you manage to get it sorted before your operation (lets face it you do have a lot to be anxious about ATM {{HUGS}})

Morning all Luda as you've run out of housework- fancy doing mine?
I've hoovered
fed dc and me
took ds to school
dd to childminder- very heart breaking moment as i left "Mummy come back please?" as i left, was in tears as i drove away. was like when she first started all over again. bloody illness. hope she wont get poorly again anytime soon especially like she has been, messes all routines etc up.
have had a productive morning doing some studying to write one of my flipping essays. am feeling quite pleased as i have done 728 out of 2500 words, so have made some progress. just having a 10 min break before i sit for another hour do some more then go collect dd. will do some flyin later on today

DontDreamItBeIt · 26/03/2008 12:19

FGS - I did that the other day, too (burst into tears with unhelpful people on the phone). I hope dd is ok without the new bed just yet.

TMH - I hope that lots of low results mean everything is related, and there will be one solution. Will you get an urgent referral so it desn't impac your surgery?

I've just discovered what happens if you use plain flour and baking powder instead of sr flour, and then guess the amount needed.....my buns have bubbled up into a big mess and oozed all over the oven. I think I put too much in

Ludaloo · 26/03/2008 12:24

dylsmum I'd love to come and do yours too! but I'm afraid I have to go out soon..phew got out of that one! What a shame

Hi all.
Managed morning routine before school today .

MWW Mot always a disaster here too.
GS Good value day out. I'm trying to plan cheap things for oue holidays, spent too much at Easter .
FGS How frustrating!
TMH poor you, just when things were settling down. Still if they can find the cause of your symptoms maybe they can help resolve them.
dylsmum Good luck with the essay. I can't write essays at all.

Need to go to shops after school, then try and shift the furniture back where it should be.

dylsmum1998 · 26/03/2008 12:52

luda how about tomorrow, its ok the mess can wait for you
scatty thanks- think I'm gonna need it.
stll have made a huge dent in it i have 927 words now. gonna go pick up my dd seee if she's forgiven me for leaving her yet!

scattyspice · 26/03/2008 12:55

Dyl - use lots of short words instead of a few long ones .

Thats my tip.

dylsmum1998 · 26/03/2008 14:20

I had an immaculate house on Monday and no one to boast about it too

DH'S fault he decided to clean behind the computer and poof no broadband

Luckily some fearless dust must have magically reattached itself as somehow its working again

Normal babble will be resumed again tomorrow

xx

scattyspice · 26/03/2008 16:11

What course are you doing Dyl? (Huge admiration to anyone who studies while raising kids).

Beware Saga. Sounds like a man trick to avoid further housework .

Well I didn't go to shops as decided to save money by eating scraps /

No furniture shifting to do either as have remembered DH is out tonight.

Can't be arsed to fly. Just laundry, tea and bedtime routine.

dylsmum1998 · 26/03/2008 16:17

Oooooh Dylsmum I have been looking into doing a PGCE in early years education.....how is your course going? Is it what you expected?

Ruby well done on the training! I wonder if you have to do anything like that to become a teacher? I am no good with things like that really...I get very sad, very quickly if I have to think of any form of child abuse
I can't watch adverts for the NSPCC because it sets me off....
Also my blood boils at the thought of phedophiles (sp!?)...makes me want to find all the offenders and personally castrate them
.....you see...I'm off on one now!
Well done you though

Well I have spent ages writing this post! I have not long come back from swimming....trying very hard to get into my excercising again. DH has been brilliant at keeping me going. He had to be in work really but stayed at home while I went...has gone back to work now though.
The kids aren't even in bed yet DD2 has crashed out on the sofa, and DD1 and DS are watching the tv. I think 9 o clock is late enough now though...quick tooth brush, pj's on and wees before bed will do tonight...bit late for books.

I might do a bit of welsh revision then get an early night

See you on the morrow

Evening ALL Ruby Glad the course went well (and glad it was what I expected, means I was paying attention) Found out this afternoon that I have a policy and proceedures review at 9 tomorrow

Ah, this afternoon, well, it went downhill from there really. OK I picked up 'Not Now, Bernard' for 30p and an elderly Spanish lady was saying what a sweet and lovely boy Ed was but...things went downhill slowly but surely. Toysaurus was strangely easy, he accepted the 'no weapons' rule and I escaped with only spending £4 on a Lego kit but I paid for it at (Big deep breath) IKEA. Got him in the creche, picked the table, got an atlas, got the storage drawers, picked him up and the hot dog meltdown started. Collected the table, got the dog and the hot choc and CHAOS

I warn Ed not to put anything on the wobbly table as it will fall off, then I notice my walking stick was missing! Telling Ed to stay put I quickly retraced my steps and located it at the checkout. I return to find not only has he put the chocolate on the wobbly table but it wobbled and dumped cup of HC into the bag of shopping and all over his coat that he'd put in there!

I swab everything down with blue kitchen roll swiped from the bistro and save the atlas while he attempts to bum drinks off the next family So I hastly leave and...leave the bally atlas. Only find out about this after I find out I've left my stick in the cab as Ed was too busy piling out to see the next door neighbour's son's lover to let me gather myself and a table etc

Tricky end to a long day only helped by making dinner (spaced us out for a bit) DH's tiramisu and 1/2 a bottle of Merlot.

Table up and will do just the job I wanted it for [Relief emoticon] Have to call tomorrow AM to see if Atlas has been handed in

Hope your days were less stressful.

Tomorrow I got to the meeting, call IKEA collect Ed, pop to the market (butcher has promised a free range chicken) and keep Ed away from polite society

tortoise · 26/03/2008 21:38

I have a headache and am very tired. Really should just go to bed!

Toddlers this morn.
DS2 had a footie match at 5.30 tonight so we froze while watching that!
dd's were late going to bed because of footie.

Hope everyone is ok. Too tired to read thread.

Hope to catch up tomorrow. Also want to go to town and try to find a new top for pub night!

LittleFairySmile · 26/03/2008 22:07

Please help me - I've fallen off the flywagon big style and can't seem to jump back in where I am! Have my daily routines, which are do-able, I'm just not doing them!
