Oven cleaning

In the past I have waited too long to clean my oven then end up paying someone to do it but I want to do it myself. It’s pretty bad at the moment - what do you recommend? Is there a secret to it not being a horrific job?!

Cleaner here..
Heat the oven up. Until you can just stand touching the glass!
Soap filled oven pads.. Rubber gloves and elbow grease! Honestly is that simple.. No major products necessary if you heat the oven...

Oven pride. Shelving in a bag with some of the goop, spread goop round oven , wait, wipe with a wet sponge. I'm lazy, it works.
