Cant get mud stains out

My child’s football kit. Synthetic material, washed it straight after the match - with stain remover on a long 40 degree wash - stains remain there. Stuck it back on a 60 degree wash - stain remover again - stains still there, although they have at least come off the socks.

Would a cold wash have been better? Anything else I can do now?

Rub washing up liquid or a soap bar into the stain and give it a good scrub with your fingers before washing with bio powder.

I often soak ds's muddy rugby kit in soapy water and scrub at stains before washing with bio powder. Often use a prewash programme too

Fairy liquid is amazing for stain removing. I don't rinse it out properly before putting it back in the washer either. I've got rid of loads of stains like this. X
