Cotton mattress protector that doesn't shrink in wash

I had a John Lewis one. Washed it before putting it on bed and it shrunk. Returned it and from reviews I could see it was a big issue.

Bought an M & S one and didn't initially shrink - but has now.

Any recommendations please? Don't want waterproof.

i had the same issue with asda 100% brushed cotton fitted sheet so i bought super king and it shrank to the right size lolllll.

I have a superking bed, would be nice to get one to fit (and not shrink). Can't be that difficult surely.

thats a shame my trick was to get super king for my king ,i have not had much luck with mattress protectors either

My latest one just lies on top of the mattress and is held on by elastics. Tbh I didn't realise that when I bought it, but it's much easier than the fitted sheet type and the sides of the mattress don't really need protecting anyway.
