Recommend me a hoover (please)

Hi, my shark cordless with anti-hair wrap has failed. I've stripped it apart and cleaned every inch of it but it's lost its mojo. I'm looking for a new hoover, i have a mix of hard and carpeted floors and two floof balls that hair up the place. Whilst cordless is convenient I'm starting to think I might be better with a corded for reliability and power. Does anyone have any recommendations for me before I waste another £200 on a duffer.

Little update. Henry is here and has done an amazing job so far. He's heavy but my gosh my floor is the cleanest it's been in a long time.
