I’ve been with Octopus since they took over from bulb and receive monthly statements. I’d built up around £1700 of credit based on the statement they sent 9th February. I went to look up how to get this overpayment back (husband currently out of contract) and it shows online £770. I queried this and after much backwards and forwards it seems that they’ve only just applied a yearly charge for electric: apparently they’ve been charging me monthly for gas only and now have charged a full years electric. Does anyone else have this? I’d wrongly assumed that the charges were for both.
