Smuggle lava lamp

My daughters knocked it over in the night onto her carpet. Anyone know what's in it? How do I get it out of the carpet !!!

Not sure what the liquid is, if not water based it might be mineral oil. Maybe try sprinkling bicarb on it and vacuuming or scrub with washing up liquid?

The stuff that makes the floating blobs is usually paraffin wax, like candle wax.
