How to get rid of dog smell

Hi
Any ideas about how I get rid of the dog smell in my daughter's bedroom. She has a labrador who is clean but the room smells as the dogs lives in there. I vacuum the carpet and open the window as much as I can but my daughter has health and sensory issues so I can't use any smelly chemicals to mask it or get in there every day.

Does bicarb work on carpet smells?

Thanks

It’s a tricky one. Changing bedding regularly. Hoovering every day. Unfortunately dogs smell. I’d get rid of the carpet and get a hard floor. And keep dog off the bed?

Wash all throws, cushions, carpets, any soft furnishings including curtains. Wash the dog regularly and air the room.

You can't completely and imo it's silly in the first place to expect to have a house that does not smell of dog, when you have one.

I think of the DDog is helping your DD and she has sensory issues you will maybe have to accept some level of dog smell.

If your DD walks him, opening the window while they're out and changing the bedding might help.

Does he have his own bed and is the bedding washed regularly?
