Kitchen reed diffuser recommendations

On the look out for a clean / fresh reed diffuser to put in my open plan kitchen dining room.
Nothing floral, musky or overly sweeet - think lemon or herbal or sea air type scent that can help to balance out or neutralise the cooking smells.
The air vents are open all year round, I open the windows, empty bins and clean surfaces every day but there's always that smell of savoury cooking that hangs around so I want an instant fix to make the ground floor smells fresher.

Village wax melts do some lovely ones, I have a lovely one in my bathroom as there's no window in there.

Not a recommendation but a thought: Are the filters in your extraction system clean? (I hate candles, diffusers and any kind of air freshener so keep our filters clean and have no problems with smells.)

I struggle with artificial smells as well so clean out extractor and hoover filters often.
