Jean clean question

I have a nice pair of Boden jeans. Unfortunately I left a red post it note in the back pocket by accident then put them in the wash now there is a red stain on the back pocket that I can't get out. Admittedly I've only tried vanish. Any tips?

I managed to stain a pair of cotton trousers with a pink post it note. I used elbow grease spray before washing and it worked
