Best place to buy big clear boxes with lids

Sorry in advance for such a boring post!!

I am having a January sort out and looking for large plastic boxes. Does anyone know the best place to buy them?

Ikea ones are good but it's a bit of a pain for me to drive there.

I had a very disappointing experience with eBay.

I know they sometimes sell them in Tesco but last time I went they weren't selling any.

The Range I've found are the cheapest? Is that still the case?

When I was looking for our loft, I found that Asda was the cheapest for large clear boxes with lids.

B&M or Homebase for really useful boxes, loads of different sizes & decent lids which actually lock properly

Look for 'Really Useful Box' brand. They are the sturdiest of all. Should last for years and years. ASDA were doing them and Robert Dyas and Hobbycraft I think. They are the only brand I'll buy now.

Same here. I've just ordered an 84 litre one from Asda for Christmas decorations.

B&Q have a good selection of large plastic boxes.

You can't beat Ikea for Price and value plus you can add to your collection at a later date if you keep the reference number handy and just arrange for the order to be delivered to your local shop, delivery is only a few pounds, cheaper than petrol and saves eating meatballs.
I ordered over the weekend and my items arrived Monday morning.

'You can't beat Ikea for Price and value.'

At one time I would have agreed, but we have been pretty disappointed with IKEA lately. The containers and infact most of their storage have the lids priced separately, and this can be misleading. Some things are abit more expensive than other places now as well. Some of their lids on storage boxes are rubbish too and don't stay on. The quality of their furniture has gone down hill too, it is flimsy, they aren't putting the screws etc in with it. I am finding there are much better deals to be had elsewhere.
Dunelm have amazing storage boxes in atm, Costco, & B&M do as well. Asda do too, if you can nab one before they go out of stock!
